Intro

Juliana Melasch graduated 2013 from her medical study at Leipzig University. In 2014 and 2015, she worked on her doctorate at the University Hospital Leipzig/ Department of Nuclear Medicine in cooperation with the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences. In June 2016, she joined the research team ‘Noninvasive Image-guided Interventions’ of Prof. Andreas Melzer to work as a research fellow on the establishment of the Magnetic Resonance-guided High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (MR-HIFU) – technology at Leipzig University Hospital.
