Yihan Deng studied Computer Science (Diplom) at Dresden University of Technology from 2007 to 2012. During the studying he worked as student assistant in Institut für Medizinische Informatik und Biometrie (Universitätsklinikum Dresden) and as programmer in Avantgarde Labs (Dresden). He has earned his Bachelor Degrees in both Computer Science and English Literature & Linguistics from Wuhan University of Science and Technology in 2006. He joined the DPM group in June 2013.

Stefan Bohn studied Biomedical Engineering in Jena until 2002 and received his Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering at the Martin-Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg in 2005. He worked in the fields of software engineering, robotics, interventional surgery, and medical imaging at the Research Centre Karlsruhe, Siemens Medical Erlangen, as well as at the Max-Planck-Institute for Cognitive Neuroscience Leipzig. He worked at ICCAS from May 2005 until July 2014.

Dr. med. P. Dubach was spending a fellowship at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology of the University Hospital of Leipzig, at the IRDC and at the ICCAS institute from June 2013 until June 2014. As a clinician he holds a position as consultant in Otorhinolaryngology at the Inselspital and has been directing the ENT Outpatient Clinic of the University Hospital of Bern since 2011. After acquiring a subtitle in Head- and Neck Surgery he focused in rhinology and otology and especially in Computer Assisted Surgery in the last 3 years.

Stefan Kropf studied Computer Science at the Ilmenau University of Technology until 2007. During his study he worked in the domain accessibility. 2008-2011 he worked at enterprises in the energy sector. He developed little tools and enhanced ETL-processes. 2011-2013 he was employed at the Institute for Medical Informatics, Statistics and Epidemiology (IMISE). The sepsis data unit supported the Center for Sepsis Control and Care (CSCC) by setting up a scientific research infrastructure including a clinical data management system and a research database.
