Prof. Andreas Melzer gave a plenary lecture on “Advanced technologies for image-based interventions” at the 4th International Conference on Biomedical Technology (ICBT) in Hannover.
At the National Congress of the Romanian Association for Endoscopic Surgery” (ARCE) in Bucharest (Romania) he acted as tutor in the course “Basics of Surgical Ultrasound” and spoke on the topics “Non-invasive Surgery by Image-Controlled, Robot-Aided, Focused Ultrasound” and “Artificial and Machine Intelligence in the Operating Room of the Future”.
