headline-marker17th Annual Conference of the German Society for Computer and Robot Assisted Surgery (CURAC 2018) in Leipzig

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

This year, the 17th annual conference of the German Society for Computer and Robot Assisted Surgery (CURAC 2018) will take place from 13 to 15 September in Leipzig. We cordially invite you to become a partner of CURAC 2018. Take advantage of the opportunity to present your products and market innovations to an interdisciplinary group of participants from the fields of medicine and research, to promote your products or to support the event with sponsoring contributions during the industrial exhibition on 14 and 15 September 2018. You will have the first-class opportunity to directly get in touch with guests and participants in the Medical District.

The medical campus Leipzig was deliberately chosen as venue for CURAC 2018. Here in the heart of the Medical District – with more than 20 clinics and medical departments in the immediate vicinity – doctors, medical students and trainees have the opportunity to take part in the event via short distances and seek direct exchange with developers and producers. We would therefore be delighted to welcome you as a partner of CURAC 2018 in the Medical District of Leipzig.

The organizer of this year’s event is – with the support of CURAC – the Innovation Center Computer Assisted Surgery (ICCAS), a Research Center at the Medical Faculty of the University of Leipzig. The ICCAS is an important pioneer in the development of computer-aided, integrative technologies and intelligent assistance systems from diagnosis to therapy. A main subject of the developments is the “intelligent operating room” and especially the promising topic of networking medical technology from different manufacturers.

The CURAC society promotes interdisciplinary scientific work and its practical implementation in the field of computer and robot-assisted surgery. The annual conference offers scientists and practitioners the largest discussion platform for their current research findings at a national level.
