24.4.2008 – Girls‘ Day 2008

At first, you wil be given a short introduction on the Medical Informatics field and its applications in clinics. Then you will be taken to MRT Lab and to a clinical station of Leipzig University in order to show, how the patient care can be improved with the techniques of Informatics.

Finally you will visit the institute, „Innovation Center Computer Assisted Surgery“, to see the research work carried on computer assisted surgical systems and some demonstrations prepared by the Researches.
