Background and Position

Jesús Guillermo Cabal Aragón received the B.A. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Guanajuato (FIMEE – Guanajuato, Mexico) in 2008. Then, he obtained his degree (M.Eng.) in Electrical Engineering (Instrumentation and Digital Systems) from the University of Guanajuato (DICIS – Guanajuato, Mexico) in 2014. Currently, he is a Ph.D. student at Universität Leipzig and he is doing his research on the development of an Assistant System to Support the Use of Intraoperative Ultrasound Imaging during Brain Tumor Surgery in the Multimodal Intraoperative Imaging research group at ICCAS. His research interests include pattern recognition and medical image processing.
