At the Leipzig University Hospital (UKL), HIFU is already being used to treat benign uterus tumours. The treatment of pancreatic tumours is planed to start next year.<br \/>\nSONO-RAY group leader Dr. Lisa Landgraf and her team is researching how HIFU can be used in combination with radiotherapy for the treatment of malignant tumors in cooperation with the Center for Radiation Research in Oncology (OncoRay), Dresden.<\/p>\n<p><em><a
