Prof. Thomas Neumuth, a member of the Health, Medical Technology and Maintenance working group, is co-author of the expert recommendation. The white paper highlights the personal, social and economic benefits of learning systems in the practice of medicine. At the same time, it identifies the configuration options and challenges for their safe operation. Using a fictitious AI application scenario in the cancer treatment of the future, the publication indicates the prerequisites for the reliability of AI-supported therapy recommendations.<\/p>\n<p><a
