Internationalen Konferenz der Society for Medical Innovation and Technology (SMIT) ein am ICCAS entwickeltes Softwaremodul zur Konfiguration und Bewertung von Gef\u00e4\u00dfimplantaten (Stentgrafts) vor.<\/p>\n<p>In dem Vortrag mit dem Titel &#8220;Stent Graft Configurator for Assisting Implant Planning in Aortic Aneurysm Repair&#8221; erl\u00e4uterte von Sachsen eine Methode zur interaktiven Konfiguration von Stentgrafts, die f\u00fcr einen Produktvergleich erforderlich ist. Gemeinsam mit einem Modul zur Simulation und Auswertung von Stentgrafteigenschaften soll der Stentgraft Konfigurator perspektivisch die Auswahl der Implantate f\u00fcr die endovaskul\u00e4re Aortenrekonstruktion optimieren. <\/p>\n<p>Die Wissenschaftlerin forscht derzeit am ICCAS zum Thema \u201eStrukturmechanische Defektklassifikation und Modellierung der Halswirbels\u00e4ule\u201c. Ziel dieses Projektes ist die Bereitstellung eines pr\u00e4operativen Planungsmodells der Halswirbels\u00e4ule zur Erh\u00f6hung der Ergebnisqualit\u00e4t bei der Behandlung degenerativ ver\u00e4nderter Knochenstrukturen.<\/p>\n<p><!--:--><!--:en--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.iccas.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/Smit2013_Foto-klein.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-action=\"zoom\" class=\"news-image\" title=\"Sandra von Sachsen lectures at SMIT2013\" alt=\"SMIT2013\" src=\"http:\/\/www.iccas.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/Smit2013_Foto-klein.jpg\" width=\"200\"\/><\/a>In early September 2013 Sandra von Sachsen presented at the 25th International Conference of the Society for Medical Innovation and Technology (SMIT) a software module for the configuration and evaluation of vascular stent grafts, which was developed at ICCAS.<\/p>\n<p>In the lecture, entitled &#8220;Stent Graft Configurator for Assisting Implant Planning in Aortic Aneurysm Repair&#8221;, von Sachsen explained a method for the interactive configuration of stent grafts, which is required for a comparison of products. Together with a module for the simulation and evaluation of stent graft properties the configurator should perspectively optimize the selection of implants for the endovascular reconstruction of aortae.<\/p>\n<p>The scientist is currently conducting research at ICCAS on &#8220;Structural mechanical defect classification and modeling of the cervical spine.&#8221; The aim of this project is to provide a pre-operative planning model of the cervical spine to increase the quality of results in the treatment of degeneratively modified bone
