As a board member of the German Society for Biomedical Engineering (DGBMT), Prof. Andreas Melzer will take over the virtual moderation of the joint meeting with the DGBMT on May 13, 2021 during the 100th anniversary of the annual German ENT Congress. The session will be dedicated to the Technical Innovations for the ENT OR of the Future<\/strong>. Over the course of the meeting, Prof. Melzer will give a presentation on the use of therapeutic focused ultrasound (FUS) for otolaryngology. He will address the topic in collaboration with Dipl.-Ing. Steffen Tretbar, head of the main department of ultrasound at Fraunhofer Institute for Biomedical Engineering (IBMT).<\/p>\n
