The first edition of the hybrid event series “Shaping the Future of Hematology” took place this October in Leipzig under the scientific leadership of Uwe Platzbecker and Anne Sophie Kubasch from the Clinic and Polyclinic for Hematology, Cell Therapy and Hemostaseology at the University of Leipzig Medical Center \u2013 our partners in the joint project KAIT together with industry partner Janssen Germany. The event featured first-class lectures and discussions on current targeted therapy options for patients with complex blood disorders. Innovative research projects such as the joint project KAIT with ICCAS leading participation as well as already existing application cases of artificial intelligence (AI) in the field of hematology were presented to the numerous participants from the entire healthcare industry. The contents resonated positively among the industry representatives as well. Following the success of the first event, the date for its second edition has now been scheduled for November 11, 2022.<\/p>\n
