{"id":62390,"date":"2025-11-04T12:19:35","date_gmt":"2025-11-04T11:19:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.iccas.de\/?p=62390"},"modified":"2025-11-04T12:23:53","modified_gmt":"2025-11-04T11:23:53","slug":"erfolgreiches-projektfinale-von-3mp-fus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.iccas.de\/en\/erfolgreiches-projektfinale-von-3mp-fus\/?&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Successful project finale for 3MP-FUS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On <strong>October 16th<\/strong>, the final meeting of the <strong>3MP-FUS<\/strong> project, funded by the <strong>German Federal Ministry of Research, Technology, and Space<\/strong>, took place at the<!--more--> <strong>Innovation Center Computer Assisted Surgery (ICCAS)<\/strong>. Together with <strong>VDI Technologiezentrum GmbH<\/strong> and the project partners <strong>MRI-STaR GmbH, Localite GmbH, Fraunhofer IBMT, MPI CBS<\/strong>, and ICCAS as consortium leader, the successful completion of the project was celebrated.<\/p>\n<p>The project aimed to make <strong>focused ultrasound (FUS)<\/strong> usable as a <strong>non-invasive procedure for neuromodulation of deep brain areas<\/strong>. For this purpose, a <strong>multimodal, multiparametric, and platform-independent FUS system<\/strong> was developed that can be fully integrated into an <strong>MRI environment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>At the final meeting, the <strong>fully integrated demonstrator<\/strong> was presented on the<strong> 1.5 T Siemens Healthineers MAGNETOM Sola<\/strong>, and the study design for the planned<strong> human application on the 3.0 T MAGNETOM Cima.X<\/strong> was presented.<\/p>\n<p>With the successful technical development, the way is now paved for the next step: the<strong> transfer of the 3MP FUS system into clinical application<\/strong>, in particular for <strong>neuromodulation in dystonia and rare forms of Parkinson&#8217;s disease<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On October 16th, the final meeting of the 3MP-FUS project, funded by the German Federal Ministry of Research, Technology, and Space, took place at the<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[1],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-62390","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-news"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.8 -
