What role will 6G play in the future for hospitals, patients, and medical technology? And which prerequisites must be established today to enable future innovations?<\/p>\n<p>The Connected Health Summit 2026 makes the results of the BMFTR-funded project \u201c6G Health\u201d publicly tangible and brings together key stakeholders from healthcare, industry, telecommunications, health insurance providers, regulation, politics, and research.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Program<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Hands-on Demos from \u201c6G Health\u201d<br \/>\n<\/strong>In the morning, we will present the results of the BMFTR-funded project \u201c6G Health\u201d in a live demonstration with hands-on stations. Experience a seamless\u00a0<strong>patient journey<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 the path a patient takes during treatment, from admission at the hospital through treatment to aftercare at home:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Admission and initial data acquisition<\/li>\n<li>Diagnostics and clinical decision support<\/li>\n<li>Treatment and connected processes in hospital operations<\/li>\n<li>Discharge and coordinated transition to aftercare<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring and care at home (e.g., telemonitoring \/ connected medical devices)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What makes it special?<\/strong>\u00a0The patient journey is continuous and seamless \u2013 in contrast to today\u2019s healthcare delivery, which often breaks down into fragmented processes.<\/p>\n<p>We demonstrate how (6G-capable) connectivity, secure data flows, and interoperable systems can work together \u2013 clearly, comprehensibly, and in a practice-oriented way.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Perspectives at the (6G) Connected Health Expert Symposium<br \/>\n<\/strong>In the afternoon, the focus will on contextualization and discussion: What requirements arise for implementation, scaling, and routine operation?
