Annekatrin Pfahl studied Medical Engineering (BEng) at the EAH Jena and Medical Engineering Sciences (MSc) at the Universität zu Lübeck. During her studies, she focussed on medical imaging and image processing. She worked as a student assistant at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf from 2016 until 2018 where she analyzed algebraic reconstruction algorithms for computed tomography.
In 2018, she joined the research group MR-Guided Interventions at ICCAS and is now doing her doctorate on spectral imaging within the group Intraoperative Multimodal Imaging.
