Best Paper Award für Silvia Born auf PacificVis Korea 2012 15.03.2012
Silvia Born (Visual Computing Group) participated in the 5th IEEE Pacific Visualization in Songdo (Korea) and won the Best Paper Award for her article “Visual 4D MRI Blood Flow Line Analysis with Predicates”. She presented a new possibility of the visual evaluation of blood flow data (4D MRI), which allows to detect irregularities in the blood flow more easily. This can give the doctor important information on cardiovascular diseases and assists in the diagnosis, prognosis and therapy.
The publication was produced in collaboration with Matthias Pfeifle (Tübingen), Prof. Michael Markl (Northwestern University of Chicago) and Prof. Gerik Scheuermann (Leipzig).
