Dr. Claire Chalopin is member of the scientific advisory board of the newly founded Sano Centre for Computational Personalised Medicine
in Krakow (Poland). At the kick-off meeting she presented her expertise in close cooperation with physicians, especially in the development of non-invasive intraoperative imaging techniques for surgery.
The international research centre is funded by the European Commission and the Foundation for Polish Science. Partners include the Forschungszentrum Jülich and Fraunhofer ISI. The goal is the development of modelling and simulation approaches as well as computerized decision support systems using in silico and high performance computing techniques for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
