ICCAS is contributing to this year’s joint conference of the Austrian, German and Swiss Societies for Biomedical Engineering (BMT2022) with many activities.
Prof. Andreas Melzer will speak on “MR-Safety and Compatibility Testing of Medical Implants” and chair several sessions.
Other ICCAS staff lectures include:
Denis Gholami Bajestani: “Hybrid polymer vessel phantoms for feasibility studies and clinical training of MRI-guided interventions”
Richard Bieck: “Image-based deep learning of finite element simulations for fast surrogate biomechanical organ deformations”
Max Rockstroh: “IEEE 11073 SDC for Pandemics like COVID-19: Example Implementation of an Isolation Room”
Gregor Thürk: “Network Load Evaluation of IEEE 11073 SDC Interconnected Medical Device Systems”
In addition, ICCAS will be represented with poster contributions and talks by guest scientists. The conference covers the entire spectrum of topics in biomedical engineering and will be held in Innsbruck until this Friday, 30 September. Next year it will be held in Duisburg from 26 to 28 September.
