Consortium meeting Open5GPacemaker 25.10.2024
On October 21th and 22th, 2024, the consortium meeting of the Open5GpaceMaker project took place at SIKT in Leipzig, attended by representatives of Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences, Chemnitz University of Technology and the companies airpuls GmbH, InnoRoute GmbH and Highstreet Technologies GmbH. ICCAS was represented by Ivan Matyash and Stefan Bohn.
The focus was on intensive discussions and planning for Time Sensitive Networks (TSN) based on 5G wireless technologies. One focus was on the preparation of a demonstrator at ICCAS for the technical evaluation of practical application scenarios in the medical environment.
In addition to the substantive work and project planning, the participants were given a guided tour of the ICCAS, with insights into the demo operating room and a patient room currently under construction, which serve as test platforms for 5G and TSN technologies.
