OP setup for a hip endoprosthesis operation in computer simulation
Study on workflow simulation of operating room setups published 17.07.2020
A recently published study by ICCAS in cooperation with the Orthopaedics Department of the University Hospital Leipzig shows how surgical procedures can be optimized. By means of graphic 3D representations of the operating room setup, optimization processes could be recorded and evaluated with the help of computer-assisted process simulation. The changes in the operating room led to an improvement in terms of workflows and posture of the hospital staff.
