Thomas Neumuth has been appointed as a member of the World Health Organization – EMT Technical Working Group on „Knowledge and Information Management (KIM)“. This group consists of professionals committed to improve the effectiveness of Emergency Medical Teams (EMT) in international disaster response scenarios. Thomas Neumuth will represent the rescEU EMT – the first pan-European field hospital of the European Commission funded with 106 Mio€ – in the working group. The primary goal of the working group is to develop a framework and system(s) with a single data repository for structured and linked data across the EMT lifecycle, automate and support existing processes, and produce advanced analytics to inform strategic and operational decisions.
