ICCAS develops study app in the fight against corona 29.04.2020
Within the framework of the COVIDVAL patient study, funded by the Saxon Ministry of Science and Art (SMWK) and conducted at the St. Georg Hospital in Leipzig, ICCAS has developed the study app COVIDVAL PRO. With the help of the app, patient data can be collected telemedically, so that personal consultations in the study center are minimized and participation is also possible under quarantine conditions or by local distance. This facilitates the study procedures considerably. Among other things, it will be investigated how antihypertensive drugs affect the course of the disease. The study will start on 11 May at the St. Georg under the direction of Prof. Joachim Beige.
