ICCAS is represented at the INNOspace® Space2Health Initiative 02.09.2020
Today, the German Aerospace Center (DLR), on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (BMWi), is organizing the launch meeting of the INNOspace network Space2Health. The network consists of enterprises, start-ups, universities and research institutions, associations and public administration from the space and health sectors along the entire value chain. The initiative is now underway with the aim of promoting the transfer of technology between the two sectors. In particular, space services such as satellite-based communication, earth observation and navigation can be used as infrastructure for the digitization and modernization of the health sector.
Prof. Andreas Melzer will work within the steering committee on the translation of medical technology for deep space missions.
