At this year’s Leipzig Interventional Course (LINC) ICCAS presents its “CephaLens”. It is a mobile assistant system which indicates inaccessible or covered anatomical structures of the skull, so that the surgeon is able to optimally plan interventions at the brain.
Furthermore, an anatomical 3D vascular phantom of the thoracic region will be exhibited at the booth. ICCAS director Prof. Andreas Melzer was significantly involved in this development. It showes the human vascular system in the thoracic region with its diseases, such as aneurysms or stenosis and can be used to practice the insertion of stents or catheters.
