Medical hyperspectral endoscopy: innovation award 27.07.2022
Madeleine Thomaßen won the “Boston Scientific Innovation Award of CAES 2022” at the 51st Congress of the German Society for Endoscopy and Imaging. The congress was held in Potsdam, Germany, May 19-21, 2022. The topic of Ms. Thomaßen’s oral presentation was the clinical evaluation of a hyperspectral imaging system for minimally invasive surgery. This new endoscopic system was developed by the ICCAS research team led by PD Dr. Claire Chalopin (Intraoperative Multimodal Imaging) in coopoeration with Diaspective Vision GmbH and the clinic and polyclinic for visceral, transplant, thoracic and vascular surgery and evaluated on patients.
