Kick-off for PATHCARE – We are getting started! 27.03.2026
The kick-off event on March 26, 2026 marked the official launch of PATHCARE – a research project rethinking the healthcare of the future.
Together with strong partners, the project is developing technologies enabling a safe, reliable, and patient-centered care pathway – from the scene of an accident through to follow-up care.
What is PATHCARE all about?
6- PATHCARE is contributing to the development of high-performance 6G communication systems that enable reliable, low-latency, and secure data transmission, particularly in time-critical scenarios such as emergency medicine or trauma rooms.
() & – The project combines modern sensor systems with AI-based analysis methods to efficiently gather and interpret vital parameters, sensor data, and multimodal information, enabling them to be utilized throughout the entire care chain.
PATHCARE enables interconnected, patient-centered care – from the site of an accident through hospital processes to post-treatment care. This includes digital twins, telemedicine, AR support, and secure, regulatory-compliant system architectures designed to strengthen the resilience of the healthcare system.
