XPOMET© Medicinale, a leading international conference for innovation and technology in the healthcare sector, will take place this year on December 3 and 4 at the Congress Center Leipzig. Over 2,500 participants from more than 20 countries, including leading experts, doctors and decision-makers, will come together to discuss and present the technologies of the future in the healthcare sector.
The diverse programme includes topics such as the future of healthcare, digitalization and artificial intelligence, genomics, robotics, diversity in medicine and sustainable healthcare systems.
Andreas Melzer will take part as a speaker in the “Robot 2.0” session and will talk about the current and future possibilities for automation and digitalization in the operating theatre in the “Future OR” debate. The topic of “Beyond Robotic” will also be highlighted, demonstrating the potential of the OR of the future. AI is also becoming an important factor in this area in order to develop strategic and operational alternatives.
