Background and Position

I obtained my Bachelor’s as well as my Master’s degree in the field of computer science at University of Leipzig.
Since I was always interested in formal mathematical modelling, I worked at the Institute for Algebraic and Logical Fundamental Research in Computer Science in Leipzig, afterwards.

My current research at ICCAS in the field of model-based automation is the uncertainty estimation via Artificial Intelligence.
More specifically, I investigate the use of Bayesian Neural Networks for inference on heterogeneous medical data.
