Status seminar and advisory board meeting at ICCAS – insights, exchange and outlook On May 13th, 2025, ICCAS will hold this year’s status seminar followed by an advisory board meeting at the SIKT of Leipzig University. The event brings together research leaders, project partners and the scientific advisory board to present the current status of research projects and discuss strategic developments.
The latest results and progress from key ICCAS research areas will be presented as part of compact project presentations. These include, among others:
Following the presentations, participants can look forward to a demo tour of the ICCAS premises. Here they will gain practical insights into ongoing research projects – from innovative assistance systems and networked clinical technologies to intelligent imaging and diagnostic tools.
The second part of the event is the internal advisory board meeting with a strategic retreat and final discussion. The advisory board makes recommendations for the future direction and development of ICCAS.
A special conclusion is the outlook on the 20th anniversary of ICCAS, which will be presented by Andreas Melzer and Thomas Neumuth – an outlook on a strong year of research and two decades of innovative medical technology research.
