Joel Focking studied mechanical engineering at HTWK Leipzig and received his Bachelor’s degree in 2021 and his Master of Science in 2024, specializing in production engineering and mechatronics. He joined ICCAS as a student assistant during his bachelor’s degree and is now a research assistant. He works in the research field of soft robotics.
