Background and Position

Korinna König studied meteorology and initially focused her research on aersosols.

During her studies at the University of Leipzig, she also focused on physical topics such as particle physics and astrophysics.

She gained experience as a scientist at the Home – Leibniz Institute for Tropospheric Research e.V. (TROPOS) in practical technical areas (laboratory experiments & setups) as well as in the field of modeling (long-range transport of airborne particles).

She professionalized her passion for working with people and building business relationships during her time as an account manager for the environmental sector (soil, water, air) in a large and internationally operating environmental laboratory.

Over 10 years, Korinna König gained extensive experience in the acquisition and development of long-term business relationships in a wide variety of industries and also dealt intensively with management concepts such as the learning company.

However, her passion for research and development has always been a driving force in her daily work.

Since 2022, Mrs. König has been the focal point at ICCAS for exchanges with industry regarding future collaborations and possible joint projects and thus also a mediator between our scientists and our cooperation partners.

She helps you, to get your innovation ideas for the medical field off the ground together with ICCAS.
