DGE-BV ICCAS at the 54th DGE-BV Congress in Würzburg: Innovation and interdisciplinary exchangeThe 54th Congress of the German Society for Endoscopy and Imaging Procedures (DGE-BV) took place in Würzburg from 13th to 15th March 2025 – an important forum for new developments in interventional endoscopy, the role of artificial intelligence and current health policy challenges such as ambulantization and the Nursing Competence Act.
The ICCAS was strongly represented: Andreas Melzer chaired the CTACT/DGBMT joint session and led exciting discussions on current technologies. Annekatrin Pfahl presented the current status of hyperspectral and multispectral endoscopic imaging, while Tobias Pabst highlighted the potential of 5G and 6G as key technologies for networking medical devices.
