Nora Grieb completed her bachelor’s degree in medical engineering at the University of Stuttgart and the Eberhard Karls University Tübingen, and her master’s degree in bioinformatics at the University of Leipzig. In the course of her master’s thesis, she was employed at the Helmholtz Institute for Environmental Research (UFZ) in Leipzig, where she worked on clustering models for Next Generation Sequencing data. She joined the Artificial Intelligence in Hematology research group as a research associate in September 2020. As part of the KAIT project to develop an artificial intelligence-based tool to support treatment decision-making in hematology, her work focuses on disease modeling, harmonization and standardization of medical data, and the application of statistical and machine learning-based methods to patient data. In addition, she is pursuing a PhD project in the area of single cell data analysis with a focus on multiple myeloma.
