Background and Position

Clemens Möllenhoff studied Business Information Systems at the University of Leipzig with academic placements in Stuttgart and Dubai (UAE) and received his B.Sc. degree in 2021. Since then, he is enrolled as a master’s student in BIS with a main emphasis on medical information systems and undertook a research semester at NTNU Trondheim (Norway). Besides that, he can demonstrate several years of experience as an emergency medical technician working at public EMS in Nuermberg and Leipzig.

At ICCAS, he works as a part-time research associate in the research group “Communication Systems and Interoperability” and is involved in the projects “6G-Health” and “MOMENTUM” (5G-connected ambulances). His specific area of work lies in the integration of prehospital medical information management tools, smart hospitals, localisation technologies and providing consultation on topics related to prehospital emergency medicine.
