On June 4th and 5th, 2025, the TI Summit will take place in the Congress Hall at Leipzig Zoo– a trade fair congress on telematics infrastructure (TI) and the digital transformation of the German healthcare system. More than 800 trade visitors and over 60 speakers from politics, research, business and healthcare will address current topics such as artificial intelligence, digital patient management, the use of research data and aspects of sustainability in the healthcare sector.
The Innovation Center Computer Assisted Surgery (ICCAS) of Leipzig University’s Faculty of Medicine will have its own exhibition stand at the TI Summit. There, the Center will present the EU-funded research project CERTAINTY (“Clinical dEcision suppoRt sysTems based on virtual pAtieNt Twins for personalIsed immunoTherapY”), which focuses on the development of a digital twin for personalized cancer therapy. The focus is on CAR-T cell therapy for multiple myeloma.
CERTAINTY aims to integrate multimodal clinical data, machine learning and mechanistic simulation models to individually predict disease progression and support therapeutic decision-making. The platform developed is intended to contribute to precision medicine and provide doctors with evidence-based recommendations for patient-specific treatment planning.
Interested visitors are cordially invited to visit the ICCAS stand to find out more about the research content and results of the project and to talk to the scientists involved.
