Connecting Healthcare IT 2014 – hochklassige Informationsquelle und Kommunikationsplattform 20.05.2014
Vom 06. bis 08. Mai 2014 rief die conhIT – Europa’s größte und bedeutendste Messe für Informationstechnologien im Gesundheitswesen – wieder zahlreiche Akteure der Healthcare IT Branche zusammen. Etliche ICCAS-Mitarbeiter nutzten die Gelegenheit, um sich auf Industrie-Messe und Kongress über neue Produkte und Entwicklungen zu informieren und mit Forscherkollegen, Herstellern und Anwendern ins Fachgespräch zu kommen.
Die DPM-Gruppe besuchte Workshops zu Datenschutz und Patientenrechten – Grundlagen, die beim Umgang mit elektronischen Datenmengen berücksichtig werden müssen. Veranstaltungen wurden besucht, die neueste Kenntnisse zu Systemen liefern, mit denen optimalere Therapieentscheidungen getroffen werden können. Zukünftig werden im Gesundheitswesen selbst lernende Computersysteme unter Einbezug der menschlichen Sprache eine bedeutsame Rolle spielen.
Für das Leuchtturmprojekt OR.NET – an dem das ICCAS maßgeblich mitarbeitet – lieferte die conhIT eine gelungene Plattform, um aktuelle Forschungsergebnisse vorzustellen und Interesse bei bisher noch nicht beteiligten Herstellern zu wecken. Das zweite öffentliche Statussymposium gab Auskunft über den Stand der Entwicklungen in Bezug auf die OR.NET Integrationsarchitektur, das Kommunikationsprotokoll und das aktuelle Datenmodell.
From 06 to 08 May 2014, the conhIT – Europe’s largest and most important trade fair for information technology in healthcare – convened again numerous actors of the healthcare industry. Several ICCAS employees took the opportunity to gain information about new products and developments and to get into technical discussions with fellow researchers, producers and operators at the industrial fair and congress.
The DPM group attended workshops on data protection and patient rights – basics that need to be taken into account when handling electronic data. Furthermore, events were visited that gave the latest knowledge about systems that allow optimal treatment decisions. Self-learning computer systems with the inclusion of human language will play an important role in future health care.
For the lighthouse project OR.NET – where ICCAS works on therapy and information processing standards – the conhIT provided a successful platform to present the latest research results and to stimulate the interest of prospective partners. The second public status symposium informed about the developments in relation to the OR.NET integration architecture, communication protocol and current data model.
