Max Rockstroh studied Computer Science with a focus on medical informatics at the University of Leipzig and graduated in 2012. The main topics were computer assisted surgery and management of hospital information systems. During his studies he worked as an research assistant in the working groups standards (STD) and model-based automation and integration (MAI) within the ICCAS. After completing his studies, he focused primarily on the networking of medical devices and the development of value-added services based on medical device connectivity. During the german flagship project OR.NET he was the project manager of the subproject Demonstrators and Test Centers responsible for the transfer of the concepts into a first practical implementation.
His current research interest is the developement of value-added services based on medical device connectivity and the development of mobile medical technology.
